I began writing as a young girl. Putting words together with the right expression felt good like tasting melted butter on a hot biscuit. Good expression gives your mind a perfect symblance.
I am a college graduate of Kings College in Charlotte, North Carolina. I received my official educational status as a Paralegal, but I work as an Administrative Assistant. I have now nearly twenty years of experience.
Ministry for me didn't begin, it is simply who I am. My signature conference, Hello God, it's me, is a wonderful time of realness and truth. It is also an intimate check in from the heart. What makes me different? Maybe many things .. maybe not as much as some. But I don't live inside of the box of theology. I live in faith through the reality of real life issues facing real people-- Real Ministry.
In 1998, I started out sending out newsletters of encouragment. I called the work, Arise and Shine. From there, I began networking for the--great come uppance. I began an online group, Real Ministry to flood the cyber word with Exhortations from the soul http://groups.yahoo.com/group/real_ministry/.
I wrote my first manuscript in 2004. In my heart, I believed I had a gift to offer the world. And it was up to me to make the dream a reality. REAL TALK: Some do, while others watch
In 2007, I published my first creation, Chile Pleaze through Author House, a vanity press. Like any small fish in a large water pool, I had to swim (learn) fast. REAL TALK: 'Your goal must become an obsession in your mind. We have to run after the goal of our choice persistently -- and with enthusiasm -- and let nothing stand in our way."
Chile Pleaze was pulled from Author House. It has been revamped and will be released under my own auspice, Verbal Conquest Publication, LLC, in May 2009.
